<description>Acne affects the majority of people in adolescence. Here arises the following question. If most people have acne within a certain period of life, perhaps it should not be viewed as a disease but as a routine case? Moreover, it may be considered an illness not having acne, but its absence in adolescence?
A reasonable approach to this question is the following:
- Single non-inflammation pimples can be considered as normal. In this case it is sufficient to comply with general recommendations.
- Mild acne can be considered as a disease that requires treatment and as a state that does not need treatment. The determining factor in this situation is the attitude of the person who has acne.
If a person has mild acne that causes psychological distress, in this case it’s necessary to treat acne.
If the acne is mild and do not cause psychological problems, there is no need to treat it. However, you must comply with general recommendations.
- Moderate to severe acne requires mandatory treatment, since in these cases acne usually causes psychological problems. Also it is likely to bring small and large scars.
